Dr. Dina Afrianty

is a Research Fellow at La Trobe Law School at La Trobe University, Melbourne. Her research focuses on gender and politics, Islamic education, international relations, and disability rights in Muslim societies. She is also affiliated with Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University (UIN) in Jakarta. She is the author of Women and Sharia Law in Northern Indonesia: Local Women’s NGOs and the Reform of Islamic Law in Aceh, published by Routledge in 2015.
