Reem Abbas

Reem Abbas, from Omdurman in Sudan earned her first degree in Journalism from the American University in Cairo, and a Masters in Gender and Migration from Ahfad University in Khartoum. A journalist, her work has been published in The Guardian, Open Democracy, The Christian Science Monitor, the Index on Censorship, Brown Book Magazine, and other print and online publications. She is also an award-winning blogger.
